They must have said it at some point

This comic made me think about quoting famous people.

Yogi Berra is confirmed to have said “I didn’t really say everything I said”, meaning there are many quotes attributed to him that he never said, or at least doesn’t remember ever saying. But I decided to come up with a list of quotes that people must have said at some point in their lives. If they are foreign it’s even easier because of the translation leeway.

Here goes.
“This is less than ideal” – Julius Caesar
“That’s not kosher” – Moses
“I hate this hat” – Al Capone
“I have the worst headache” – Abraham Lincoln

“And then it struck me” – Isaac Newton
“Now I’ve seen everything” – Magellan
“Again?” - Brigham Young
“This is boring” – William Shakespeare
“I’m hungry” – Gandhi
“I’m cold. Let’s go home” – Leif Eriksson
“What time is it?” Thomas Edison
“We’re out of milk” – Bill Gates
“Eureka! – no wait” – Archimedes
“What do they want?” – Darius I

I mean, they must have said it sometime – probably not in any sort of profound context, but still. What other quotes can you think of? It’s fun – use it in conversation. In the words of Socrates “You should try this.”

That is hilarious! It is just like in People magazine when they have pictures of famous people doing everyday things and the caption reads, "Stars! They're just like us!" and yes, it is true, they look bad or their kids cry or they brush their teeth. Just like how, I am sure, Bill Gates has lamented a lack of milk and may still to this day. I guess then milk is the great equalizer.

I have one that David Suzuki definately said. He said it to Rick Mercer

"The earth? Hell, what about my nuts?"
